Happy news for potential buyers of non-Apple tablets—now you can choose from a third as many apps as iPad users have! Well, maybe this news isn’t all that great after all.
20101026 AndroidMkt 500x280 iPad News: Android Market Hits 100,000 Apps

A bunch of tablets running Google’s Android system are supposed to be coming out over the next few months, and developers have been busy creating new apps for them. Well, maybe not so new, since some of them were developed for the iPad first. But the people who buy those devices for whatever reason will now have 100,000 apps to choose from.
Of course, iPad users currently have 300,000 apps available at the iTunes Store, with more coming every day. Hope those Android apps aren’t outdated by the time dinosaurs like Microsoft and Acer finally get their tablets on the market.
